EPS topek 2

This textbook is organized into 8 topics, consisting of 60 chapters, following the occupational structures of migrant workers provided by the

Human Resources Development Service of Korea. The preparation chapter helps with learning vowels and consonants of Korean characters and

basic greetings before starting. Each chapter is composed of occupational skills, vocabulary and grammar based on EPS-TOPIK and National

Competency Standards (NCS) and is divided into sections in the order of Conversation, Vocabulary and Expressions, Grammar, Practice, Activity,

Information and Culture, and EPS-TOPIK. The Conversation section shows a sample dialogue. The authentic dialogue introduces study objectives,

new vocabulary, and daily life situations that migrant workers face in their workplace. Vocabulary and Expressions introduces new words and

expressions with pictures and illustrations, so that learners can understand them with ease and interest. The Grammar section explains target

grammatical expressions that are closely related to the study objectives of each chapter. The Practice section provides various types of questions,

so that students will be able to review vocabulary, expressions, and grammar that are covered in each chapter. The Activity section helps students

to create authentic conversation using the newly introduced vocabulary, expressions, and grammar in the chapter. The Information and Culture

section helps with understanding general Korean culture and the unique workplace culture of Korea. EPS-TOPIK questions are also provided for testtakers

at the end of each chapter. Below is the detailed explanation of the sections.
